Morges book festival.

Le livre sur les quais is a literary event that takes place every year in the city of Morges. Above all, it is an opportunity for readers to meet 300 authors, great names in literature, established writers or authors of a first novel.

Although the focus is on French-speaking literature and French-speaking Swiss literature, the fair is opening up a little more each year to English-speaking authors. Its international and intercultural vocation is also strengthened by the presence of German-speaking and Italian-speaking authors, as well as by the organisation of meetings on translation practices.

To promote literature among children and teenagers, Le livre sur les quais has created a space dedicated to youth. Many activities, games and meetings between children and authors or illustrators are organised.
